 Awareness Training
In 2005, Michelle began a journey of discovery and became accredited as a professional trainer. She now provides instruction and guidance to owners who seek a better perspective of dog awareness and how to interact with them to acheive success in all areas of training. She also helps dogs understand the human pack leader position and their place within the household.

She has successfully worked with a variety of breeds and their owners, overcoming issues such as puppy challenges and inappropriate behaviours in older dogs by redirecting a dog's energy in a positive manner.

Owners often try too hard to humanize their dogs and loose sight of the fact that a dog will always be a dog. While dogs can adapt to the human world, they have come from a very different place. Understanding and respecting these differences is the first step to successful dog training.

Michelle's unique approach includes a system that she has developed through years of research and personal experience. She has a gift for connecting with dogs. They respond to her almost immediately. Michelle will teach you what you need to know to do the same for your canine family member, and will also make sure you have a chance to apply what you are learning throughout the process.

Michelle is active in numerous dog rescue efforts. In her free time she enjoys spending time with Baron, Cybil, Savanna and her partner Sonny.

Michelle is insured and bonded and is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers and of All Canadian Pet Services Network.
